Job Title: Marketing Automation & CRM Manager/specialist

Location: Montreal, Qc
Reports to: Senior Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a data-driven and collaborative Marketing Automation & CRM to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of our marketing automation ecosystem across a growing network. 

This role will play a pivotal part in enhancing our patient lifecycle marketing from acquisition to retention through smart use of data, personalization, and automation. The ideal candidate combines marketing technology expertise with a deep understanding of consumer journeys, segmentation, and omnichannel communication.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Automation Strategy & Execution

  • Develop, implement, and optimize automated email and SMS journeys across the patient lifecycle (acquisition, conversion, retention, and reactivation).
  • Manage campaign setup, audience segmentation, and performance tracking within the marketing automation platform (e.g., HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or equivalent).
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to deliver dynamic, personalized messaging.
  • A/B test automation flows and campaign variables to continually improve engagement and conversion rates.

2. Customer Data Management

  • Build and maintain audience segments based on behavioral, transactional, and demographic data to power personalized marketing at scale.
  • Partner with IT and analytics teams to ensure accurate data flow and governance.

3. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

  • Define and track key performance metrics related to automation (email/SMS performance, database growth, campaign ROI, conversion rates).
  • Translate data into actionable recommendations to improve patient experience and marketing efficiency.
  • Build and lead a testing plan to ensure optimization and optimal performance.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Paid Media, Web, Commercial team and Clinic Operations teams to create seamless, omnichannel patient experiences.
  • Support national and local marketing initiatives by leveraging data-driven targeting and automation capabilities.
  • Act as the internal subject-matter expert on marketing automation and CRM/CDP type tools best practices.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (Masters degree is an asset).
  • 6+ years of experience in marketing automation, CRM, or data-driven marketing ideally within multi-location retail, healthcare, or beauty industries.
  • Proven experience managing or implementing CRM and CDP tools as asset
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools (Creatio, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, or equivalent).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent understanding of audience segmentation, personalization, and customer journey mapping.
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (CASL, GDPR, HIPAA, L25) and data compliance.
  • Good organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
